From a Sears shoulder-mounted VHS camera to frontlines and wedding aisles.
My journey with videography began in 1987. My dad had just brought home a Sears shoulder-mounted VHS camera. I can still remember pushing the buttons, hearing the hum of the machine, and sliding that brick-sized plastic tape into place. Click! — the door shut, my eye pressed to the viewfinder, and suddenly the world transformed. Everything I saw could now be captured, preserved, and watched over and over again.
As the years went by, videography remained my passion while traveling Europe from Italy to Romania, Germany to Croatia with my wife. When the COVID era hit with furloughs and uncertainty, I decided to turn my lifelong passion into my profession — mastering the craft with a relentless dedication to cinematic quality.
That decision took me to places I never imagined: from filming multi-million dollar luxury estates in the Hill Country to directing a documentary directly on the frontlines of the Ukraine–Russia war. Each project taught me that every frame holds the power to move people, preserve history, and keep our most sacred memories alive.
